Hardwood has always been a popular choice for decking and its popularity has exceeded that of treated pine.
We have many suppliers whom we can purchase imported hardwood species particularly in decking but also in other member sizes if required.
Australian hardwood is more popular than ever and looks fantastic in a decking scenario. Common Australian species are Karri, Spotted Gum and Blackbutt.
Also we have access to Laminated Merbau, this timber has a great structural rating and looks fantastic especially once oiled. More information will be available on this soon.
